Yes, I know I’ve already interviewed someone from Uber Entertainment. But they’re getting ready to release their innovative multiplayer team shooter Monday Night Combat as part of Microsoft’s Summer of Arcade and I believe it’s set to raise expectations of games that arrive via digital distribution only.
In my brief skype chat with Logan DeMelt we cover the wonders of bacon, competitive gaming, digital download pricing and a few other sundries. If you’re still not sure whether to purchase MNC or why exactly you should, there’s an awesome developer walkthrough of the tank class up on youtube that will enlighten you.
So listen in and let me know who I should try and ambush next and what you think of the interview!

Are you tired of the droves of free-to-play MMOs offering a shoddy product and offering unfair pay-for-power progression? Well Andrew Brown and Jonathan Belliss of Perfect World Entertainment would like to bend your ear for a minute and explain what they feel like they’re doing right with their current and upcoming titles.
Listen in as I beg them to pick up the Legend of the Five Rings license and ask them why we should care about what they have to offer MMO gamers.

Still processing my backlog of PAX East interviews, Split Screen Radio brings you some quality time with John Comes the Creative Director of Uber Entertainment. If you’ve been watching our coverage over on the Colony, you’ve probably witnessed our excitement about Uber’s potential XBLA smash hit Monday Night Combat.
We chat about what it’s like to work at a tight knit studio, the importance of family at Uber, and what he thinks is key to the success of their upcoming title.

And because I’ve got more amazing swag, this week one lucky listener will earn themselves a sweet 8-bit styled Monday Night Combat t-shirt in an accommodating XL size. Simply comment away and I’ll randomly determine a winner. US only, sorry!
Last week’s winners: hunterx280 (CoG), CaptainSidekick, and robgonzo. You’ll get your codes via e-mail shortly.

It’s not every day you get the privilege of sitting down with one of your heroes. It is almost unheard of to get the opportunity to speak with three of them at the same time.
In this episode, three perennial PAX performers Paul, Storm, and Jonathan sit down with me to record for Split Screen. As you can tell, we ran more than a bit long but I promise you that what these guys have to say about living life as nerd-centric musicians and producing their own music.
And, in honor of PAX East, I’ve rounded up a set of three XBL Avatar hoodie codes to give away. Simply give me feedback on my new project in the form of an e-mail or a private message and I’ll pick three responses at random and reward them with digital avatar swag!

Following the Frontalot interview comes indie developer Eitan Glinert to talk about what it’s like to be oh-so-indie and what their next console title Slam Bolt Scrappers has in store for gamers. After chatting with him on the show floor and playing a few rounds of the game, I just had to capture his excitement to share for Split Screen.
